About Scrambles & Skills

Scrambles & Skills started with one kid, one cube, and a lot of curiosity.
My son Connor discovered speedcubing when he was eight years old. What started as learning how to solve a Rubik’s cube quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. He practiced constantly, learned new algorithms, and dove deep into the world of cubing. Just seven months after starting, he competed in his first speedcubing competition.
As his mom, I quickly noticed something frustrating: there was almost no cubing merchandise available in small kids’ or toddler sizes. Even worse, much of the merch that did exist had cube designs that were inaccurate—scrambles that didn’t make sense, color schemes that were wrong, or graphics that clearly weren’t made by people who actually cube.
Connor still loved cubing, but like many cubers, he also branched out into other skill-based challenges—trick shots, dice stacking, cup stacking, and anything that required practice, precision, and a little bit of obsession. When we looked for merchandise for these hobbies, the options were even worse.
So I started making shirts and hoodies just for him.
What began as a small project at home slowly turned into an idea: a store built for people who love skill-based hobbies—especially cubing—where the designs are accurate, the references are real, and the products are made for the people who actually practice these skills every day.
That idea became Scrambles & Skills.
Our goal is simple: create fun, clever, and accurate designs for cubers, trick-shot fans, stackers, and anyone who loves the process of learning a skill and getting better at it.
Whether you're chasing a new personal best, practicing a new algorithm, or perfecting the perfect trick shot, we hope you'll find something here that feels like it was made just for you.
